Sandy Springs Christian Church. The beautiful sanctuary at Sandy Springs Christian Church. As soon as I walked in and saw all the incredible woodwork I knew the HDR would be fantastic! It really helped control the interior lighting from blowing out, not to mention the bright sunlight coming in through the side door.
Ft Frederica on St Simons Island, GA. One of my first attempts at capturing images for HDR without the use of a tripod. The first image is the result of my typical editing in Photoshop of a single exposure.
The second image combines three exposures. Amazing how much detail is brought out in the clouds!
Cops and Rodders Annual Car Show in Roswell, GA. First time shooting cars. Again, handheld. Normally you avoid shooting in midday, direct sunlight but I just love the color depth that HDR created!
New Westside (Atlanta) location of 5 Seasons Restaurant and Brewery. There's a huge wall of windows behind the camera that really floods the room with light. You can see in the first image how
badly it reflects off the paneling on the wall behind the bar. HDR eliminated that, the blown out TV screens, and also lets the woodwork above the bar show more.
